Today, I want to show you what's in my store. This is a kit I made earlier this month. I was thinking to make my own P365, or at least P52. ButI missed last 2 weeks of scrapping because I prepared the opening of my store, LOL. I hope I can catch up what I've miss.

So, today is the day that I'm waiting for :)

I've been designing for almost 1 year. Some of you who follow our monthly freebie kits might be very familiar with my designs. I think it's the time for me to move to the next 'level' of my digital scrapbooking activities. And I take this new year as my moment to make a plan.

One of my personal 'resolutions' is to step out of my comfort zone (as I wrote in my resolution layout, LOL) and not to be afraid to take risks. When I start to share my stuffs as freebies and get very nice responds from people, I couldn't tell you how much I enjoy it. I was thinking to be a freebie designer forever. That's my comfort zone, LOL. Well, it's not that way, actually deep down inside, I always want to be a designer and have my own store.

Early this month, I wrote to Chelcee of Pure Creativity Designs to apply a position in her store's designers team. And, she replied me with a YES! Really, ladies... I think you can imagine how happy and excited I am. Things are getting crazy after that, LOL. A lot of things I should do in short time. Well, I made my own target that I want to complete before this month come to end. Preparing some items to put in store, and also CT jobs at the same time (I'm still in 4 CT team). But I enjoyed all the mess, LOL.

Now, let me tell you about DIGITAL SCRAP CAFE. I love the forum from the first time I joined it, months back (that's when Chelcee made me one of her CT team back in July 2009). The Forum and gallery are so neat and well-organized. The people are so nice and warm. We can find so many great designers with beautiful designs. And if you're a freebie freak, you're going to love being there. They give away a lot of great freebies every week, a lot of challenges with attractive prizes, too.

Beginning - the freebie

How are doing in this new year. I can't believe that two weeks are over now, LOL. Time does fly! I've been very busy myself these couple of weeks. I have some resolutions for this new year, and amazingly, I can achieved one of them in this first weeks of year! God is great! (If you want to know what it is, stay tune here, on my blog, LOL. There will be an exciting news coming up. And freebies of course!)

Now, onto our monthly collaboration. Are you waiting for it? This is our first freebie this year. And this whole new year's thing left a lot of mess in our life, LOL. I told you, I'm very busy, right? I still don't get enough time to make a layout for a sample for this kit :(. Actually, I totally forgot that I have to make a layout. Cool Date Stamp and Template Set

Hi again...

I am really in the mood for scrapping in this new year :). And a lot of great new releases helped me to create new beautiful layouts. Really, I want to tell you about this cool date stamp created by Amber of Stolen Moments. I love it very much. I mean really LOVE it!

You can easily mix and match them in any way you want. You can also re-color them just in one snap! Very easy and useful. Especially for you who's starting P365 or P52 like what I'm going to do this year. And see how Amber give a title for this product, LOL. It is the only date stamp I need!

And this is my first layout using the date stamp. Yes, it is the first cause I'm sure I'm going to use it for the whole year! Isn't it cute? I love to see the date in that little tag, LOL

It's my daughters' photo in the layout. I took it last Thursday when we went to a garden to spend our remaining holiday before it really end this week end. We were having a great time there, especially for my baby daughter, Noura, who always be inside home everyday. I love to see her cute amazed face when she saw bright sunny sky above her, LOL. I should take them outside more often, I think.

Amber also have a new Template Set availale in her store at Scrapmatters. It's another template set insipred by one of her CT member: Niki.

I did one layout using one of the template and a kit from Stolen Moments: Summer Sailor. The color of the kit is matching with the photo, right? She is my good friend, Yola. I told her I fall in love with most of her photos, LOL. And she let me scrap them! Thanks Yola, this one's for you!

Happy New Year!

First post of this year!

LOL, finally I have the mood to update his blog. First of all, I want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR for all of you. Hope we can make this year better than last year. And I'm sure you had a great new year's holiday, right?

Mine? It's kinda boring. LOL. Actually, the vacation is not over yet for me. My daughter is still on her school holiday till January 10th. A long long holiday. The excitement only last for the first week only. After that, she start to feel bored cause she think she did everything she wanted to do, and now all she want is to meet her friends, LOL.

And what made it worst is that I don't have my laptop with me for the last 2 weeks (until now! I'm using my sister's laptop). Some accident happened when I browsed 2 weeks back, and that's it.... my laptop collaps! I put it for a repair to a shop, and it's still there til now :( I lost most of my files, including photoshop's brushes, styles, actions etc. Arrrrgh.... what a 'great' new year!

Now onto scrapping, the laptop problem makes me very lazy to design (so no freebies!). But I cannot stay away from photoshop, though LOL. So I did some layouts and at least I do enjoy it!

The first one is for "Project 365" at DSC. It is not actually 365 cause instead of one layout a day, DSC challenges us to scrap one layout a week! It's not so hard to do, right. I cannot imagine myself to scrap each of my day through the whole year, LOL. What makes it more interesting is that each month DSC will give us a free template for inspiration. This month's teplate is from Chelcee (click on the image below to get the template).

It's a beautiful template, isn't it? So make sure you visit DSC forum to get the template and join the project. Here's what I did with the template:

I use Tater's GREATEST TIME OF YEAR and Stolen Moments' Date-Go-Round The photo was taken on the first day of January. We were in a mall which had a X-mas program that include artificial snow in it. Nasha (my daughter) was very excited about it. Even though it's only soft soap bubbles instead of ice, but it looked like real snow, LOL

The next layout is for a template challenge host by Pom at DSC forum. As usual, Pom always have a unique and original idea (that's what I admire from her!). Here's the template:

A yummy layout, isn't it? LOL. The idea is actually to scrap a new year resolutions. But I did resolution layout twice already as CT for other designers' product last week. So, I think that's enough. I choose to scrap my muffins instead. I love muffins. It's the easiest thing to bake, and it never take more than 1 hour to make it ready LOL. I used to bake almost everyday, but now, after my second daughter, it's a hard thing to do.

RESOLUTIONARY

I did two layouts last week. Here they are:

I wish to make a better interaction with my daughters this year. I became a mother of 2 daughters in the middle of last year. And it was a bit mess for a while, especially when my DH is not around. But I know I have the most precious princesses in the world!

The second layout is actually a 're-make' of resolution layout. I did it with different kit before, but I don't mind o make it once more with this beauiful kit.
